Terms of Service
Last updated: May 16, 2026
§ 01 · Who you are agreeing with
Wordspotting (wordspotting.app) is a service operated by Dmytro Biletskyi, sole proprietor (FOP), Ukraine. Contact: support@wordspotting.app . By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
§ 02 · What the service is
Wordspotting helps adult English learners find new words in texts they already consume, classify them, and study them with spaced repetition. Features, pricing, and availability may change.
§ 03 · Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One person, one account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Wordspotting.
§ 04 · What you can upload
You may upload texts you have the right to use for personal learning. You are responsible for any content you bring into the service. We do not redistribute your uploads. Do not upload content that is illegal, infringes third party rights, or violates someone's privacy.
§ 05 · Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service. No scraping, no automated mass importing, no attempts to break authentication or extract other users' data, no resale of AI generated outputs as a separate service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
§ 06 · Free and paid plans
Wordspotting has a free plan that stays free, with a monthly credit allowance for definition generation, and a paid plan with a larger allowance. Paid plans are a recurring subscription that renews automatically each billing period until you cancel, with your payment method charged at the start of each period. Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record. You can cancel at any time, and refunds follow our Refund Policy.
§ 07 · Service availability
We try to keep the service up but make no uptime guarantees. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.
§ 08 · Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the service. Where law does not permit limitation, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for free users, is zero).
§ 09 · Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing support@wordspotting.app . We may close your account if you violate these terms. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
§ 10 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
§ 11 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Ukraine, except where applicable consumer protection law gives you a different right.
